Martin Luther King's Son Snatches $1.8M Buckhead Home

New, 32 comments

Dexter Scott King, the son of famed activists Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King, recently closed on a Buckhead home on Peachtree Battle Avenue for $1.8 million. D.S. King is the chairman of the King Center in Atlanta and played his father in a 2002 TV movie. He previously split his time between California and Atlanta, but recently sold his $4.8 million piece of paradise in Malibu in favor of the new French country-style estate on his father's home turf.

King's new home sits on a corner lot. It has eight rooms, including four bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms. The back patio, which overlooks a kempt garden, has stunning tile and a vaulted ceiling.
