Beltline's Eastside Trail is Still a Magnet for Restaurants

New, 4 comments

Despite the openings of culinary mothership Ponce City Market and food-packed Krog Street Market along the Beltline, the Eastside Trail's magnetism for new restaurant ventures shows no signs of diminishing.

Last year saw the debut of fun-loving Venkman's in the Old Fourth Ward, and now, on the flipside of the Beltline in Poncey-Highland, plans are in motion for a ramen noodle shop next to Two Urban Licks called "Nexto" (get it?), What Now Atlanta reports. The ramen offerings—by Concentrics Restaurants and Chef Mihoko Obunai, of Repast fame—will come in an outbuilding off Ralph McGill Road, and the build-out is being handled by Atlanta-based firm WJG Design. The path to Nexto from Atlanta's multi-use boardwalk might be a little convoluted, but it'll definitely be another food option for Beltline patrons, though the entrance probably won't hold a candle to the camper van and Ping-Pong tables planned down at Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall.
