New Old Fourth Ward Rentals are Harboring Special Secrets

New, 9 comments

For renters who've had it up to here with nonessential amenities like rooftop lounges, on-site bike shops and doggie tanning beds, a new batch of boutique apartments in the Old Fourth Ward could be a back-to-basics remedy. A block from Edgewood Avenue and attractions like Church (the bar), a renovated building now called The Avery recently opened. A property manager with Gimbal Residential tells Curbed the complex is "the first in Atlanta to feature full smart home integration." What's more, it's loaded with other "unique features" that are "unfortunately governed by (a) confidentiality agreement at this time." Bummer. Beyond the secret perks, The Avery offers large balconies, skyline views, smart thermostats and walkability to MARTA and the Beltline. According to Realtor.com, the building dates to 1969 and sold for $3 million last year. See these updated digs after the jump, and drop management a line for pricing.
