Fox Theatre rooftop bar, Marquee Club revealed

The Moorish-themed venues will bring dining, drinking experiences to the Fab

The iconic Fox Theatre on Peachtree Street is about to get even more fabulous, thanks to a renovation and addition project.

Announced back in September, plans call for the conversion of 10,000 square feet of events space into a sprawling "Marquee Club," complete with five bars. Access to the premium amenity will be offered to patrons of the Fox, keeping in line with other similar venues, according to the AJC.

The club will draw from the Moorish design of the theater and feature intricate carved panels, plush fabrics, and jewel-toned hues.

The five bars will be spread throughout the three-level space, with one bar at street level, one on the mezzanine, and three on the rooftop, providing access to the Peachtree Street terrace. Patrons will enjoy personalized service of pre-show hors d’oeuvres with their drinks.

The rooftop terrace and bar will offer guests an opportunity which has only been available to a few people over the last eight decades — the chance to get up close and personal with the Peachtree Street marquee.

Until the bar opens in the fall of next year, you can enjoy the view from a behind-the-scenes tour of the theater last year.
