These Atlanta Botanical Garden photos will make your day better

Far off the touristy path beaten by the World of Coca-Cola® and Atlanta’s Incredible Fish Tank®, Midtown’s sylvan, stress-alleviating Atlanta Botanical Garden slips under the radar sometimes — at least in the consciousness of hustling city dwellers.

But with a truly landmark exhibit ending Oct. 30, it was high time for Visual Journeys to pay a return visit. Maybe this sounds patronizing, but it’s hard to leave Chihuly in the Garden not feeling ... better.

Dale Chihuly, the internationally acclaimed wizard of glass, hosted a blockbuster show here in 2004. His encore, which opened in April, is double the size.

Set against the Garden’s verdant universe, Chihuly in the Garden boasts 19 installations of kaleidoscopic scope and color. Relax a minute and wander through the photographic preview below ...
