Posh Brookhaven townhomes start in $900Ks, tout stylistic variety

Marketed as “luxury living at its finest,” with style by Harrison Design

A gated enclave of 18 Brookhaven townhomes is promising a stylistic alternative to semi-detchached Craftsman and faux-brownstone ventures popping up across Atlanta.

Building permits have just been issued for a luxe project called “Brookhaven Wilshire” on Hermance Drive, within walking distance of Town Brookhaven and Oglethorpe University, Jordan Walker of Muffley & Associates Real Estate tells Curbed Atlanta.

With prices beginning in the $900,000s, the project won’t exactly boost Brookhaven’s stable of affordable housing, but such is the price for four-level units with elevators and at least 3,700 square feet.

Touted as “luxury living at its finest,” the Wilshire will offer three-to-five-bedroom pads by Harrison Design, with Jim Weinberg Lifestyles interiors and construction by Arthur Rutenberg Homes — a strong pedigree, in other words. Expect six different floor plans.

We’re told that three units have gone under contract since a recent groundbreaking at the site.

This promotional babble offers a few more details:

“Buyers will love the unexpected touches found throughout such as the private, covered terraces, oversized picture windows, modern gas fireplaces, stylish Bertazzoni Italian appliances, and superior closets by California Closets, to name a few.”

No interior glimpses were provided, but the exteriors promise a clean, simplified aesthetic:
