Three bedroom, three bathroom dwelling has 2,000 square feet

The Old Fourth Ward's wave of modern-style residences shows few signs of cresting.

This three-bedroom, three-bathroom custom contemporary home on Auburn Avenue just hit the market for $785,000.

With just under 2,000 square feet of living space, the dwelling is located near the Beltline as well as Krog Street Market, the streetcar (sort of), and a bountiful selection of restaurants.

The listing boasts of an open floorplan, high ceilings, built-in bookcases, "loads of windows," hardwoods, and (debatably) three big bedrooms. The layout and many finishes (especially the hexagonal tile) are refreshingly different.

The kitchen has stainless-steel appliances, what looks like a custom range hood, "leather-finished" granite, farmhouse sink, and a big pantry.

Also, a "zero maintenance lot," which means no yard whatsoever if prospective homebuyers are cool with that. Don't expect much privacy, however.
