Modern Marvel in Woodsy Buckhead Setting Lingers Unsold

New, 11 comments

After 329 days on the market and a $100,000 price-chop (back in October), this glass-filled stunner from 1967 still hasn't changed hands. On the surface, the latest price of $1.39 million wouldn't seem exorbitant for a bucolic lot in Buckhead's Garden Hills neighborhood, tucked between Peachtree Road and Lindbergh, with views overlooking Sunnybrook Park. The home has a bevy of outdoor spaces, 20-foot ceilings in the solarium-like dining area and one room after the other that's clearly been updated by pros. With four bedrooms and 2,850 square feet, the place is large but not sprawling. And maybe, for this kind of dough, modern enthusiasts would prefer to design their own chic palace? Or maybe (but doubtfully) the so-so Walk Score of 55 is the hangup here?
