Using their own internal metrics, national brokerage Redfin has boiled down the numbers to determine Atlanta's "hottest" neighborhood for 2016, which just happens to be the reigning Curbed Cup champion. Based on home views and "favorites" on Redfin's website, in addition to input from local agents, West End is Atlanta's hottest neighborhood for 2016. "Real estate pioneers are flocking to West End because it's in a great location, situated on the Westside Trail with plenty of green space," said local Redfin agent Will Fassinger in a release. "People also like West End because it has beautiful, historic Queen Anne, Folk Victorian and bungalow homes with lots of character that are being restored with modern amenities." Per Redfin's numbers, median sales prices for West End homes ($122,000; 48 median days on market) are certainly cheaper than ATL's second hottest 'hood, Grant Park ($327,000; 15 days on market), and third-place Reynoldstown ($277,000), where homes are typically being scooped up in 12 days.
