A slick new recording studio with ties to Nikki Minaj, Mariah Carey and Katy Perry has opened its doors in Atlanta. Designed by Ulrika Lindström with Ullis Design, the studio is big on style, featuring a fusion of sleek minimalism and industrial chic with concrete floors, exposed brick and distressed wood accents coexisting with bold patterned fabrics, colorful lighting and white walls. (Inspirational, right?) Coming off a recent Grammy-nominated album, Bravo Ocean Studios — led by the Georgia-born duo of Nick Chahwala and Charles Malone — has unveiled the new studio space in Grant Park. The Atlanta Business Chronicle reports that the 2,200-square-foot studio contains state-of-the-art facilities ready for any big artist to come drop an album. Despite its small size, with two artists "under development," the studio has the potential to make a big impact.
