$1.2M Midtown Penthouse Touts Pristine Views

New, 9 comments

Ever dreamed of checking traffic without getting out of bed?

The mellifluous ceiling lines and general layout of this spacious Midtown penthouse are an apt crown to a building named after water. What does $1.19 million (plus mortgage-like $1,455 monthly HOA fees) buy atop Aqua? For starters, a concierge, private elevator service, and panoramic views that stretch from Westin Peachtree Plaza to Cobb County to Buckhead; from virtually any room, a buyer could sip morning coffee and watch backhoes nibble away another Midtown parking lot. These 3,089 square feet clearly allow for a fancy-pants piano, giant curvy couches, and a master bedroom (one of three) that rivals the most pimp corner office. The rich hardwoods are a nice contrast to lighter walls, and the pro kitchen hardly looks dated though the building, unbelievably, is nearly a decade old. The location may be closer to the interstate side of Midtown than some buyers would prefer, but the Walk Score is a sterling 91, should a need arise to leave this aquarium in the sky.
