Vision for Poncey-Highland's Next Townhomes Emerges

New, 10 comments

A rendering has emerged that sheds lights on what a new batch of Poncey-Highland townhomes will look like, but the scope and location of the project remains a little less clear. According to a bare-bones promotional website, "Freedom Townhomes" will offer contemporary exteriors, rich amenities, central location and a walkable lifestyle that's getting better every day." An eagle-eyed tipster says a promotional sign for the project has stood across North Highland Avenue from Manuel's Tavern, next to the dry cleaners. But all other signs point to the townhomes rising around the corner on North Avenue.

The project is promising "the kind of convenience that only direct access to Freedom Park and the Atlanta Beltline can offer," which could lead one to believe its location would be a long-vacant corner lot where North Avenue meets Moreland Avenue. But according to an address on the website, the townhomes will be a couple of blocks closer to Midtown on North Avenue. In any case, the units will be priced in the $600,000s and $700,000s with move-ins project (optimistically) this fall. Reads the site:

"The more you know, the more you'll undertand (sic) the limited opportunity in front of you. Inquire now and be among the first to experience Freedom."
