Asian-Inspired Ranch in NW Atlanta Lands Contract in Hours

They don't sell that door at Home Depot

Good luck finding another midcentury ranch with rooflines like this in Atlanta. Located just inside Interstate 285, in Historic Collier Heights, this Asian-inspired ranch from 1962 came on the market Wednesday with short-sale status. But feng shui — or the minuscule $65,000 asking price — may have worked in its favor, as it went under contract within a day.

Per the agent, this brick temple has "tremendous potential" and a huge backyard — and more rooftop flair than a Japanese tea house. The listing unfortunately provides no interior photos, but it's a safe bet there's at least one gong, some bonsai, and koi ponds in there somewhere.
