Developers behind a new batch of Poncey-Highland townhomes predict Phase I will launch this spring — and that the modern-style offerings won't last long on the open market.
Located between North Avenue and Freedom Parkway, the Freedom Townhomes project's initial phase will consist of four units that developers hope will welcome residents by this fall. A more fleshed-out website for the project has launched (teeming with requisite, highly satisfied millennials), though floorplans are still being finished, officials said. The project carries the confident tagline: "Only 15 homes. Now you see them ... soon you won't."
Earlier Freedom Townhomes promotions said the units will be priced in the $600,000 and $700,000s. The new site describes the offerings as energy-efficient homes "with light-filled rooms, hardwood floors, premium finishes — smart wired to simplify even the most hectic lives." Other features will include "dramatic" rooftop decks, custom fireplaces, and wet bars. Another bonus, per the site: the 83 Bike Score, and 79 Walk Score.
No word yet on when the entire project could wrap.
