Young Atlanta real estate company is pushing ahead with adaptive-reuse projects

It seems a young development company, Pellerin Real Estate, is out to make a name for itself. The company is moving forward with plans to redevelop a warehouse space near Grant Park for nearly $20 million and a former shop in the heart of Little Five Points.

The site at 1040 Grant St. SE and other nearby warehouse spaces have been targeted for redevelopment in light of their future proximity to the Beltline, in addition to MARTA and other Grant Park offerings. Back in 2014, Eventide Brewing moved to the area following a successful Kickstarter campaign.

Pellerin plans to split the 1040 location into six units, one of which already has a committed tenant. According to What Now Atlanta, The Nest Nursery School will be moving their educational operation from Ormewood park into the Grant Park property.

Pellerin is also developing a co-work space near the center of Little Five Points at 1188 McLendon Ave. The building, which sits next to Brewhouse Cafe, was a woodworking shop for 30 years. A plan for that space could include 12 suites and a common working area.
