Beltline people-watching is about to get easier at Ponce City Market.
Officials with the mixed-use mega-project say their long, shaded welcoming mat for Beltline patrons — called simply the "Beltline Shed" — is all set to debut May 3, What Now Atlanta reports.
It's the latest human-scale component to the Beltline's Eastside Trail, and along with The Roof (which debuts to the public in July), it's one of the highly anticipated finishing touches to PCM. (The so-called Boiler Building, as seen above, will apparently come later).
What can we expect from the Shed come May 3?
Beyond the giant public patio, expect a new weekly venture called Ponce City Farmers Market, featuring vendors such as Farm Burger, King of Pops, Turnrow Bath Body & Home and others. It all reportedly happens for four hours on Tuesdays, beginning at 4 p.m.
