Spellbinding Druid Hills Tudor Castle asks $3.6 Million

Six bedrooms, six bathrooms, and a touch of hubris

OK, this place is eye-popping, no denying that. But, "absolutely the best home available in the Intown Market" (as the listing proclaims)? That's bold.

This six-bedroom, six-bathroom, 3,611-square-foot renovation and expansion (that square footage could be pre-expansion) of a Druid Hills estate property boasts an acre and a half, an oversized garage with workshop, and a wine cellar with tasting room.

According to DeKalb property records, it was originally built in 1928. Inside it looks quite up-to-date, indeed.

The renovation and expansion was by HammerSmith, and the results have justifiably been featured in magazines such as Elle Decor and Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles. In particular, the multi-sink kitchen, sitting rooms, and master bathroom are just plain enviable.
