Kirkwood Craftsman Lingers on Market, but Why?

Trigger warning: interior paint colors are ... drastic

After more than a month on the market, this $350,000 home in Kirkwood — one of Atlanta's bidding-war hotbeds —has not been snatched up. At 2,160 square feet, it seems like a low price for a pad this size in the area, so what gives?

Is it the fact that it's located on busy Memorial Drive? Is it the bonkers red and blue paint job inside? It's hard to say, but neither is likely helping.

About as subtle as the paint job is the listing's all caps description of the place, which describes the three-bedroom, four-bathroom residence from 2005 as a "DESIGNER SHOWCASE OFFERING GLEAMING HARDWOOD FLOORS, SPARKLING GRANITE, CUSTOM CABINETRY AND STAINLESS APPLIANCES."

Let's use our inside voice now:

What's the deal here, y'all?
