Penthouse Above Downtown W Hotel Offers 'Ultimate CEO Lifestyle'

New, 19 comments

Live up in the sky, with panoramic downtown views for $2.8 million

With its sprawling living space and panoramic views of downtown Atlanta, this penthouse above the W Hotel is precisely the type of residence that makes the ambitious among us ponder the question: "What can I do in this lifetime to make it mine?"

The $2.8 million, 3,888-square-foot condo has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a two-car garage with its own restricted elevator that connects directly to all this contemporary opulence.

If it looks familiar, this pad was on the market (part of a years-long push to move these massive units) as recently as last summer. It eventually sold in September — for $1.69 million, far less than the current ask.

For the homebuyer who owns a helicopter — and, at this price, it's not that farfetched — there's access to the city's only residential helipad, too.

Views from the penthouse: Mercedez-Benz Stadium, CNN Center, Centennial Olympic Park, Coca-Cola headquarters and Georgia Tech. Automated shades allow one to close the windows, but God, why would anybody ever want to block that vista?

And, of course, all the trappings of condo life in a top-flight hotel: 24-hour gym, room service, spa, and pool.

Alas, few can afford to live the listing's self-described "ultimate CEO lifestyle," but one can dream.
