More Details Revealed About Pricey Buckhead Condos

New, 21 comments

With demand high and a construction start date looming, Emerson details are released

Emerson, that highly anticipated (and rare) new Atlanta condo building, is moving closer to reality in Buckhead.

The building's sales center is slated to open at the end of the month, and insiders say more than 100 people have expressed interest in purchasing one of the 44 units available. Its distinctive architecture and height should set it apart from other recent condo products in Atlanta.

Such interest could be a good indication that the ultra-high-end real estate market in Atlanta is ready and raring to go. With the smallest units starting at $1.8 million, this building isn't for everyone.

According to Atlanta SKYrise Blog, the building's layout will provide every unit with unobstructed 270-degree views. All units will feature 350 to 400-square-foot terraces and private elevators to whisk residents from their parking spaces to their units.

In terms of specifics, the building will feature three floorplans, one for each tower stack.

North-oriented units with Peachtree Street views will be a sizable 3,465 square feet, with three bedrooms and three-and-1/2 bathrooms each.

South-facing units will also feature three bedrooms, but will be smaller, coming in at around 2,600 square feet, with three bathrooms.

The smallest units, located on the western side of the building, will feature two bedrooms, two-and-1/2 bathrooms, and will run just over 1,900 square feet.

Officials say the JPX Works development — designed by ODA-Architecture, Rule Joy Trammel + Rubio, Perkins +Will, and Mark Williams Design Associates — should commence this fall, with completion expected mid-2018.
