For lovers of modern architecture and contemporary issues shaping design today, the next two weeks have a lot to offer in Atlanta.
"Design is Human," sponsored by MA (Modern Atlanta), returns for another year of programs highlighting architecture, designers, and a range of modern homes through a series of tours. The event advances the organization's mission to promote "Atlanta as the nation's new creative hub for creative knowledge-driven activity."
Throughout the course of the next two weeks, there will be tours of modern homes across the city, panel discussions with leading architects, lectures, and an international design expo at ADAC.
The festivities kick off this evening at General Assembly at Ponce City Market with a panel discussion entitled "Tiny House Reimagined," which will look at the burgeoning tiny house revolution as people seek smaller homes in the city.
