Gorgeous Atlanta Midcentury Home in Buckhead is $1.07M

New, 8 comments

Abode has vaulted glass ceilings, big yard, and nearly 4,000 square feet

Seeing photos of this Buckhead home might make some midcentury modern lovers feel like a million bucks. And, if they want it, that’s about what it’ll cost them.

Built in 1951, the brick abode abounds with clean lines and — wow — so, so much natural light. The family room, for instance, features a vaulted glass ceiling (as well as a bar and built-in bookshelves). The foyer hall and den boast floor-to-ceiling windows, and glass doors lead out to a big, brick patio.

In total, there’s four bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, and 3,769 square feet. If that’s not enough indoor space for a homebuyer (even though it’s a ton), there’s a big 3/4-acre manicured yard with abundant outdoor lighting. And, judging by the pictures, this place is a real beauty at night.

But, then again, a million bucks is a lot of money.
