First Look: Old Fourth Ward’s Latest Townhome Crop

New, 31 comments

Between Midtown and Boulevard, prices begin in the lowish $700Ks

Dirt is moving for the latest semi-detached endeavor in the Old Fourth Ward — a batch of four-level townhomes west of Boulevard that ambitiously hopes to finish this year.

The listing suggests the four-unit project is named "420 Parkway" (for the address) and will welcome residents in November. All townhomes will have three bedrooms and four stories, with standard soaker tubs, his/her closets, sky terraces with city views, and elevator options (read: buy an elevator, or stair-climb a lot).

Price points begin at $725,000 for 2,319 square feet. The largest units are more than 3,200 square feet and cost about $830,000.

The property alone sold for $425,000 in January.

These four offerings won’t be lacking for nearby townhome competition, with John Wieland’s Glen Iris Drive enclave coming to fruition and this new gated townhome community selling about a block away.
