Shared office space is kind of the big thing these days, with ventures popping up all over the city, from downtown to Midtown to Old Fourth Ward to Reynoldstown.
The concept is continuing in the Buckhead market in a major way, with WeWork recently opening a 27,000-square-foot, two-story office space with room for nearly 600 desks.
Snuggled in the heart of Tower Place, the facility features ample collaborative and common space. And while the outside is pretty banal, the interiors are designed to embrace the local flavor of the Big Peach — for instance, there’s a huge mural inspired by the 1996 Olympics.
With WeWork locations around the world, a membership doesn’t just get you space in Atlanta, but in cities from Shanghai to Sydney to Seattle. With that temptation, and Hartsfield-Jackson just a quick MARTA ride away, it may be hard to stick around the Atlanta office and get work done.
