The rapidly changing character of West Midtown — from industrial grunge to bastion of bougie — is plowing along full steam ahead.
BisNow reports that a Howell Mill warehouse, the longtime home of an industrial equipment provider, will be demolished to make way for a 275-unit apartment complex.
The developer, Alliance Residential, plans to bring their Broadstone brand to the neighborhood south of 14th Street, just behind the Westside Provisions District.
It'll be interesting to see how the building is designed, as a large portion of the site faces a six-story concrete parking garage that serves residents and retail spaces in the thriving eight-year-old development. Not exactly pristine balcony views.
Broadstone West Midtown will be the third iteration of the brand. The first opened in Buckhead late last year, while the second is currently under construction in Midtown.
No timeline has been released for construction or an estimated opening.
