New Chamblee Homes Bring Living to the Park

New, 15 comments

Parkside living is so passe these days when you can live in a park

Some homes tout their proximity to public parks, but few can boast the adjacency to greenspace TerraCraft has achieved in Chamblee.

The residential developer is wrapping up development in "the middle" of a 44-acre park just off Peachtree Boulevard. Located on the border of Brookhaven and Chamblee, the 10 homes are being constructed to match the existing Keswick Village Community, nestled in Keswick Park. The park features baseball and soccer fields, a community center, a walking trail, and tennis courts.

Prices for the smallest home, featuring four bedrooms and three-and-1/2 bathrooms in 3,400 square feet, start at $780,000 — practically inexpensive compared to many new townhouse developments going up just down the road. But that's certainly not peanuts.
