Developers provide rendering, price range for project christened "Oculus"

The developer of modern townhomes planned for Ponce de Leon Avenue near Briarcliff Road has announced an expected completion date for the project as well as an anticipated price range for those in the market.

Tino Kombosch with Cablik Enterprises tells Curbed Atlanta the three townhomes at 1137 Ponce de Leon Ave. — billed as "The Oculus," a joint project with AU1 Property — are scheduled to be finished in spring 2017 with a price tag in the high-$800,000 range.

Kombosch said each will be about 2,500 square feet with four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a half bathroom, private rooftop lounges, and private courtyards.

This is the same project that earlier this year sought multiple variances from the city in order to fit the three residences into a tight site bordered on two sides by a midcentury residential tower operated by Salvation Army.

The upscale mixed-use development 675 N. Highland is wrapping up just a block away.

Cablik isn't the only one cashing in on interest in the area. The site is just down the street from an old home that went on the market earlier this year for a not insignificant $1.3 million, touting the redevelopment potential in the area.
