Deeply Discounted Buckhead Sky-Manse Hears Crickets at $3M

New, 12 comments

When a mere 4,000 square feet in the clouds won’t suffice

Despite McMansion-esque square footage, sweeping views from a balcony where 20 people could boogie, and two aggressive price-chops, this condo boasting the largest floorplan at Buckhead’s coveted Sovereign tower has languished on the market for most of this year.

In condo-starved Atlanta, what’s up with that?

There’s a traditional if not slightly regal sort of vibe that permeates these 4,417 square feet and three bedrooms (two of which have their own private balconies). That might rub today’s jet-setters the wrong way.

But upgrades that include a centralized audio-visual system, custom closets, and Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances don’t mar the appeal.

Added bonus: the Lenox Square fireworks from that balcony.

Pitfall: sore necks from looking down at said fireworks.

Originally listed at $3.6 million in February, this sky manse now sits at an even $3 million.
