Guy Who Wrote Bruno Mars' Smash Selling Atlanta Home

New, 4 comments

Brookhaven house of songwriter Needlz has six bedrooms, six bathrooms, and a whopping 6,300 square feet

From the outside, the Atlanta home of a guy who has penned songs for musical artists like 50 Cent and Ludacris looks overwhelmingly, well ... unassuming. Or even docile. Especially for being on Bragg Street.

But, once inside, it becomes apparent the person who lives here REALLY loves music. And enviable wall art.

Khari "Needlz" Cain has written songs for the aforementioned artists as well as Fabolous, Talib Kweli, and Bruno Mars (specifically, he cowrote "Just the Way You Are," which topped the charts in seven countries and earned the songwriter/musician a 2011 American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers pop award nomination and five Billboard nominations).

But, back to the home he’s selling.

Located in Brookhaven and built in 2006, this three-story song factory has six bedrooms, six bathrooms, and 6,300 square feet of space, including a sweet-looking music studio (doubtful the equipment comes with the sale). The studio (guest suite) has a full bath, kitchenette, and its own entrance.

A family room with repurposed brick and coffered ceilings opens to a kitchen with island/breakfast bar. The master bedroom has a large custom closet and six-foot jetted tub. Two decks overlook the backyard, including a patio and screened porch.

Listing price is $959,000.
