The latest nontraditional new-build in the Old Fourth Ward is touting five-minute walking proximity to Ponce City Market and the potential to lift modern living in this metamorphosing ‘hood "to a whole new level."
If that level is referring to the $895,000 price point — well, that’s not entirely virgin territory, though it might be for a home of this size (2,600 square feet).
This is one of at least eight Old Fourth Ward properties on the market for more than $800,000 right now — almost all of them in the modern vein.
A handful of O4W houses have indeed sold in the $800K echelon this season — like this one, and this — but were significantly larger.
Anyhow, back on Morgan Street, this upcoming four-bedroom residence, designed by the Wright Gardner Architect firm, is said to " impress the most discerning buyer" with its gourmet kitchen, subterranean garage, and roof deck with PCM and Midtown vistas.
Based on renderings, it won’t want for windows or various sloped rooflines of varying heights. Pretty soon it’ll have the added appeal of blending right in.
