This custom Buckhead contemporary wants a cool $2.1M

Could be eden for picky contemporary enthusiasts seeking that lived-in feel

For deep-pocketed Atlanta buyers in the market for primo, timeless contemporary houses who don’t fancy the idea of waiting on landscaping to mature — well, get a load of this decade-old stunner on a manicured Buckhead acre.

Positioned just west of Interstate 75, set back from Peachtree Battle Avenue behind automatic gates, this four-bedroom, one-story pad was custom-built for the sloping terrain. It listed for the first time this week at $2.1 million.

Anything but staid, the house takes risks with blue carpeting, purple tile, and a large recessed aquarium that could be off-putting. But the perks are many, from the camera security system, whole-house audio, three-car garage, and Sub-Zero and Miele brands in the expansive kitchen. The outdoor lounging areas seem immaculate, with a shower and separate bathroom to make peeing in the pool inexcusable.

With 3,555 square feet, it’s not ridiculously humungous, especially for such a lot. That breaks down to a staggering $590 per square foot

But nobody said living like this was cheap.
