First look: luxury Brookhaven townhome row from the $500Ks

But just BARELY the $500Ks

A new row of Brookhaven townhomes is aiming for north-ITP buyers who seek a semi-detached lifestyle that doesn’t cost upwards of $1 million.

Dubbed "Blackburn Row," the 10 luxury offerings by Peachland Homes will be positioned next to Brookhaven’s Blackburn Park, with walkability to a smattering of restaurants, retail, and the local YMCA.

The hype is that these units will start in the $500Ks ... more specifically, the cheaper "interior" units will cost $599,900. The (presumably larger) exterior homes will be $20,000 more.

The Aha! Connection reported in May the townhomes would rise on Donaldson Drive and consist of roughly 2,300 to 2,500 square feet each. Expect three bedrooms and three and 12 bathrooms, plus private back decks.

A promotional website suggests the builder and interior designer Jane Hollman are sweating the details. The 10-inch base moldings are designed to cast specific shadows, the stairs will be girded by contemporary metal detailing, and the main-level floors will be five-inch white oak, as previewed in the renderings below:
