The ultra-posh Residences at Mandarin Oriental has unveiled townhome options they’re billing as a first for Atlanta. And if initial images are any indication, the spacious, European-influenced offerings are rather stunning.
This particular three-story maisonette is tucked in the hotel tower’s luxe gardens, offering a fair amount of outdoor lounging space (billed as "front yards"), plus a private entrance, garage, in-home elevator, and an 84 Walk Score to boot. Two plans are available, each designed (like many of the building’s upper-floor condos) by Harrison Design.
Designed to feel like a "beautiful villa with ... 5-star services," this 4,314-square-foot whopper came on the market last week at $2.9 million.
The price is on par with the first three-bedroom condos at the upcoming Emerson Buckhead, located a bit farther south on Peachtree Road.
At the Mandarin Oriental, one unusual perk is that the seller has agreed to pay the first year of HOA dues, which sounds very 2008-ish. But with said fees running about $2,800 per month, the savings wouldn't be chicken feed.
Perched above the townhomes, on the same property, is Atlanta’s priciest penthouse at the moment, which is asking $7 million unfinished.
