A new office space located on the seventh floor of Ponce City Markets opened today, hoping to draw a range of companies to the popular Beltline-adjacent building.
Industrious, a New York-based shared workspace provider, had already filled 30,000 square feet on PCM’s eighth floor. The new space brings another 25,000 square feet on board, complete with 40 new private offices.
Officials tell Curbed Atlanta that companies including Spotify, Instacart, and even Ryan Gravel’s SixPitch call the offices home and get to enjoy perks like fresh-made pastries and bagels, Blue Donkey coffee, and fancy events including parfait bars and Bloody Mary happy hours.
Tenants probably sometimes even get work done.
The offices retain the industrial vibe of the old Sears & Roebuck facility, while providing modern conveniences expected in high-end offices. And with expansive views of the neighborhood from the warehouse-style windows and enviable proximity to good food and shopping, there’s a lot to enjoy.
Yeah, people totally get work done there...
The move comes on the heels of Athenahealth’s announcement that the healthcare tech company will bring an additional 500 workers to PCM, nearly doubling the size of their offices.
So, at least anecdotally, it seems the “work” facet of Ponce City Market’s live-work-play concept is going strong.
