Just completed, this Townsend at Chamblee offering provides intown style without the typical intown price.

Taylor Morrison Realty of Georgia Inc.

Located off Chamblee-Dunwoody Road near Peachtree Road, this four-bedroom, four-bath townhome is part of a larger 42-home gated community in Chamblee.

They’re not exactly giving these away, but the project brings a fair bit of style for cheaper prices than those found in more molten markets closer to Atlanta’s core.

Named Townsend at Chamblee, the development is one of the newest offerings from builder Taylor Morrison, which has installed communities at Lenox Park, Toco Hills, and Decatur, among other places in the metro Atlanta area.

This 2,517-square-foot dwelling certainly looks the part of a chic, intown residence with its hardwood floors, collection of interesting light fixtures, and mix of textures found in almost every room.

And, once construction is complete in the development, that back deck will be a hot spot for entertaining. Plus, this unit comes with a two-car attached garage.

Community amenities include a swimming pool with cabana, promenade, and walking trail. The listing also touts the townhome’s location near the Peachtree Station Shopping Center and Chamblee MARTA station, which is less than one mile away.

Although the asking price of $486,044 is significantly higher than similar homes in the area, a townhome this size is significantly cheaper in burgeoning Chamblee than, say, the Old Fourth Ward.

As a result, potential buyers could live the contemporary intown life without spending a bundle. Comparatively speaking.

Smaller units for sale at Townsend dip as low as $442,000 right now. Unfortunately, exterior photos are hard to come by at the moment.
