For $1.6M, gargantuan home boasts Buckhead’s only private rooftop pool

2008 property is geared toward deep-pocketed Atlanta buyers in the market for something splashy.

Here’s something you don’t see every day—and won’t see anywhere else in Atlanta’s most monied district, apparently.

High atop this end-cap of a gated townhome community near Lenox Square presides the only rooftop pool on a private Buckhead residence, per the listing.

What looks like two townhomes is in fact a 5,000-square-foot residence atop a four-car garage(s), built in 2008 along Roxboro Road. With its private gardens, exclusive (and heated) infinity pool, and an elevator to all floors, the home is marketed as an “incredible opportunity” for $1,595,000, with homeowner customizations throughout.

The rather scant listing photos clearly exhibit pride in the rooftop party zone and an upper-level living space, but they don’t necessarily illuminate the home’s function and flow.

It counts more fireplaces (three) than bedrooms, as there’s inexplicably just two sleeping quarters among all this space, per listings. And just three bathrooms.

As for location, a buyer would enjoy walkability to much of central Buckhead, and the 72 WalkScore in these parts could be boosted when East Paces Ferry Road’s ongoing Complete Street treatment wraps.

Buckhead is certainly no stranger to home transactions in the $1.5-million range, but properties that have achieved those heights in recent months are largely more traditional estates. And this place bucks tradition in almost every way.
