Although some updating could be required, and the HOAs aren’t exactly cheap.

No shortage of windows here.

Despite its relatively tall stature, this stack of 125 condos on Roswell Road near Chastain Park tends to slip under the radar, even though the views from some units—as the name “The View at Chastain” implies—are spectacular.

Such can be said for this airy two-bedroom loft with two south-facing balconies that frame Buckhead’s growing skying. The location affords access to Atlanta’s largest park (Chastain) and walkability to everything from The Ivy and Johnny’s Hideaway to Petco.

For an intown condo with north of 1,700 square feet, two and 12 bathrooms, and an upstairs flex space, the asking price of $428,900 could seem quite reasonable these days. However, the $701 monthly HOA fees aren’t chump change.

With its 24-foot ceilings and towering wall of windows, the condo’s great room provides the most distinguishing features here. It’s full of warm, homey decor, and the SieMatic kitchen counts Bosch appliances, while elsewhere is found two master bedrooms, per the listing.

Some aspects—the exposed ductwork, some tiling choices, and thick, grey carpeting—hint at the building’s 2005 origins.

But maybe perks beyond the home itself (around-the-clock concierge, an additional storage room near two secured parking spaces) could atone for any perceived drawbacks?
