Transformed Edgewood bungalow touted as ‘adorable’ at $350K

Shiplap haters beware

A renovated home in Edgewood, Atlanta.
Before, after.
Red Barn Real Estate

This 1929 bungalow on Hosea Williams Drive in Edgewood has a brightened outlook on life—and a clear fondness for shiplap.

Described as “adorable” in the listing, the three-bedroom, two-bathroom property represents an increasingly rare opportunity to own a legitimate, rehabbed house for the mid-$300,000s in intown Atlanta.

You won't find exquisite European finishes here, but rather a home that looks more inviting from the street and cozily fresh throughout. And very shiplappy, too.

Zillow pegs the square footage at 1,350, which is comparable to a larger two-bedroom condo in Atlanta. It listed earlier this month for an even $350,000—with the listing language screaming, “This one of a kind won’t last long (sic)!!”

With its greenish shed and mud, the backyard seems a tad dismal. Elsewhere, the landscaping ... well, beyond some sod, it doesn’t really exist.
