Where fancifully gothic meets cozy

For the first time in years, an Atlanta architectural gem built from Stone Mountain granite dubbed “The Manor House” is up for grabs—provided those grabby hands have a substantial offer in them.

You’ll find this castle-esque beauty tucked near Buckhead’s Atlanta Memorial Park in the tony Haynes Manor neighborhood.

Aspects of the interior decorating and design might lean a little medieval for modern tastes, but large rooms and high ceilings (in many cases peaked) do lend what the listing calls “a great feeling of space and light.” The bones here date back to 1928.

The cozy basement entertainment space and functional wine room both look righteous, but the property’s highlight has to be the pool and adjoining deck with an outdoor kitchen, all girded by pro landscaping that’s nothing short of regal.

Asking $3.4 million, The Manor House counts five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and a detached living space above the fleet-ready garage.

Records indicate it last traded in 2011 for $2.8 million. But that was before the finished basement, outdoor barbecue station, and pool fit for a prince.
