High in upscale tower, find views for miles but nary a piece of wall art

Perched within Buckhead’s impressive Sovereign tower, Unit 3005 emits the sort of squeaky-clean vibe of a condo barely used—or one whose owner is always out of town.

The 82 units in Buckhead’s tallest sky-rise, finished just as the Great Recession was dawning, are eclectic in style, ranging from what could be called vintage safari to spunky minimalism here.

This wide-open flat counts an entire wall of windows and brims with bright colors and bold design choices (see: wall-mounted bathroom fan and leathery fireplace treatment). It listed 36 days ago at $1.43 million—described in the listing as an “incredible opportunity” at a “fantastic price point”—and hasn’t budged since.

Pertinent numbers: 2,100 square feet, two bedrooms (plus den/office), two and 12 bathrooms, and one interesting dining-room set.

Highlights include the kitchen’s wine cooler, the master’s Carrara marble, and walls likely unmarred by a single nail-hole.

But the crowning achievement is outside.

Accessed via double-doors, the generous, crescent-shaped terrace boasts expansive views of skylines from downtown to Buckhead—and Sovereign pool parties.
