On Sunday, Atlanta’s popular Streets Alive celebration marked its second installment of the year, taking over Marietta Street and Howell Mill Road on the Westside.

Stretching from the heart of downtown at Five Points to Underwood Hills in Buckhead, the four-mile route offered an array of sites and experiences, including a real-life wedding in the middle of Marietta Street, near Centennial Olympic Park.

Coinciding with the annual Atlanta Cycling Festival, there was a heavy emphasis on two-wheeled mobility, including obstacle courses, races, and bike raffles. And in an encouraging sign for Atlanta’s bike share service Relay, blue cruisers from the program were a very common site along the entire route.

The next Streets Alive event will be held in September and stretch through downtown and Midtown along Peachtree Street.
