Located on Bessie Branham Park, this five-bedroom, four-bath new-construction in Kirkwood certainly has a lot to attract buyers.
But so far ... crickets.
The open floorplan on the main level is outfitted with hardwood floors, a fireplace, granite countertops in the kitchen, and plenty of windows to take in the natural light.
The master suite features a very modern bathroom with double vanities, soaking tub and separate walk-in shower, plus a walk-in closet that one could easily get lost in.
A front porch provides a great people-watching spot, especially with the park’s tennis courts right across the street, but it’s the screened-in back porch that most likely will dominate as the outdoor-entertaining center, given that it’s prewired for a TV.
Another draw is the two-car detached garage that dominates the backyard, which also includes a large driveway that will accept several more cars when entertaining.
All of which begs the question of why no offers have been made—or, at least, accepted—on this house since it was listed in mid-June, per listing services.
Perhaps the asking price of $719,500 is a bit more than the market for this high-demand side of town will accept at the moment.
Other homes within blocks are asking substantially more with less than 100 more square feet (this one counts just shy of 2,900).
It’ll be interesting to see just how long it takes for this home to snag a contract.
