This clean, simple, traditional new-construction could whet the appetites of buyers worried that half-million budgets in Grant Park go no further than smallish bungalows these days.

Boundary maps indicate it’s technically a block within Grant Park, perched on a corner-lot mound next to Summerhill.

Listed last week at $575,000, it offers four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a smattering of rusting touches that don’t go overboard. Square footage isn’t specified.

For buyers eager to show off cereal collections, it has open pantry shelving and a first-floor sputnik-ish light fixture that plays a staring role in about 17 different listing photos.

Perks include 10-foot ceilings, pretty blonde hardwoods, and a covered porch off the master bedroom that allegedly has city views, per the listing.

For recreation, it’s a few block east from here to Zoo Atlanta but much closer to Phoenix II Park, which could soon function as a shortcut to Summerhill’s own retail strip.

One obvious highpoint is the screened back porch with a crucial overhead fan. That helps atone for the lack of covered parking—or any backyard to speak of. On a positive note, mowing this mound would be a minutes-long endeavor.
