Sometimes it takes a few years for a project to move from the drawing board to reality. And sometimes it takes decades.

Post Midtown, originally planned as Post Millennium nearly 20 years ago, is finally nearing completion on 11th Street, just a block from the Midtown MARTA Station.

The glass tower, standing above a red-brick podium, has been under construction since 2015.

While the red brick of the building’s base makes it stand out from other recent developments, the prices for units in the building echo the trends of surrounding apartments.

Studios—some as small as 555 square feet—start at $1,660 and go up to nearly $2,300 per month.

Meanwhile, one-bedroom units start at nearly two grand and the smallest two-bedroom units go for $2,515 and up, while larger floorplans cap out at more than $3,700.

One of the building’s most unique features is the rare three-bedroom, three-bathroom units, of which there are currently three plans available online.

Those units, clearly designed to attract nearby Georgia Tech students, range from $4,125 to $5,365 per month.

Of course, for the money, the building comes with all the trappings of luxury, including a “City Sky” lounge, deluxe fitness center, pet park and spa, and a coffee bar.

The building’s first residents will be able to move in the week after Labor Day.

A two-bedroom, two-and-1/2-bathroom option is unique for the market.

The three-bedroom, three-bathroom layout is likely meant to attract Georgia Tech students. Who gets the master with private balcony?
