In Edgewood, this Craftsman-style renovation wants to bag $435K

This “intown gem” off Memorial Drive offers an exceedingly rare, legit house in the $400Ks

Small house with covered front porch and landscaped yard.
A study in Southern charm (from the aughts).
RE/MAX Advantage

Built in 2005 and recently renovated, this three-bedroom, two-bathroom Craftsman-style home in Edgewood certainly contains many of today’s more popular features.

Like the lack of covered parking, its location south of Memorial Drive could be a ding (and a detriment to walkability), but for a home priced at $400K-anything in this market, it dangles a lot of carrots.

For instance, there’s the now standard stainless-steel appliances in the kitchen, the already-routine subway tile in the bathrooms, and the interesting if not unique lighting features in the living room (hello, Sputnik) and over the kitchen table.

Three walk-in closets in the master bedroom along with a dual shower in the master bath do add a bit of “wow” to this “intown gem,” as described in the listing. However, the rooms seem awfully small, which is not too unexpected given the home’s 1,612 square feet.

Of course, the covered front porch epitomizes the Southern charm mentioned in the listing, and the front landscaping offers quite a bit of curb appeal.

Plus, the back deck and fenced-in backyard are coveted features for homeowners wanting to enjoy’s Atlanta’s (mostly) mild weather.

However, to take advantage of the “long private driveway,” buyers better keep an eye on their side mirrors.

All in all, it’s a nice package (though not as authentically old as it looks, at first blush) for $435,000.
