Peachtree Road in Buckhead has long been one of the premier addresses in Atlanta, but where single-family homes once dominated the scene, high-end townhomes are becoming de rigueur.

As part of this wave of new options, a 17-home development billed as “Buckhead Park North” is now available, having risen from a once-woodsy, residential site near the Brookhaven city limits.

One of four developments to get underway at the end of 2015, the project has been slow to materialize following the demolition of three homes that formerly occupied the site.

Starting at a million bucks each, the homes are some of the swankiest examples of the densification of residences along the corridor. A Zillow search reveals four of the units in the development are currently on the market, featuring three or four bathrooms apiece.

Of course, these offerings have many trappings of luxury, including large soaking tubs, whole-house audio, and tricked-out kitchens. Photos of the completed homes show hardwoods throughout, granite countertops, and an outdoor room, complete with fireplace.
