Across the street from the MARTA station in downtown Chamblee, work is on track at Atlanta’s latest TOD.

Parkside Partners and Pattillo Industrial Real Estate are constructing an office and retail development aptly named Trackside. When complete, the two-building development will house nearly 80,000 square feet of office space as well as ground-floor retail.

As the latest project underway in the bustling downtown district, Trackside will join residential developments including the Olmsted, Parkside, 5300 Lofts, and The Malone on Peachtree.

Trackside is an exciting addition, especially given its proximity to MARTA and the new residential offerings, but the site will also boast a four-story parking deck.

Construction began in May on what was formerly a parking lot. Work had been scheduled to begin last year, but environmental issues slowed progress.

Now, it’s full steam ahead for Trackside, with the four-story first phase topped out. Construction on the first building is slated for completion by next summer.
