Within walking distance of shopping and the Beltline’s future Southside Trail, this stylish home looks like it won’t linger long on the market

Less than a week after hitting the market, this three-bedroom, two-bath bungalow has scored an offer. Not surprising considering the asking price of $169,900 is dirt cheap, even for the home’s South Atlanta location.

The circa-1920 property recently received a complete makeover, giving it a much more modern interior. However, that double-sided fireplace flanked by built-in shelves does offer a unique, vintage focal point for the living and dining rooms.

And, despite the moderate tally of 1,500 square feet, both the kitchen and master bedroom appear to be quite spacious.

Outside, the large back deck and privacy fence are great complements to the covered front porch, although it appears both the front and back yards were overlooked during the renovation.

Of course, at such a low asking price, potential homebuyers may have enough pocket change left over to pay for some landscaping and possibly fix up that driveway a bit.

Potential buyers also can enjoy a short walk to shopping, and, if they plan to stay here a while, the Beltline’s planned Southside Trail will be just a few blocks—although possibly five years, at least—away.
