Behold the most expensive Atlanta condo sold in 2017

Sprawling full-floor unit at Buckhead’s Mandarin Oriental was city’s highest sale in more than two years

On the final business day of 2017, a deal was inked for a high-floor Buckhead residence that reigned over all other Atlanta condo sales in terms of pricing last year.

Counting a full-floor layout across nearly 5,200 square feet, two massive terraces, a wine wall, and one secret bathroom portal, unit 52F fetched $3,999,000 to become 2017’s most expensive condo sale, according to Marc Castillo of Coldwell Banker Atlanta, who represented the buyer.

With an interior by Harrison Design, the condo is basically a showplace of marble, stylish lighting, Waterworks fixtures, and Porcelanosa floors. The terraces came with built-in gas fireplaces and Wolf grills.

It was the highest price an Atlanta condo has fetched since a slice of the St. Regis Residences went for $4 million in October 2015—as merely a raw shell space.
