While construction activity along West Peachtree Street in Midtown is still going gangbusters, one of the many active projects is quickly wrapping up.

The new Northside medical office tower on the southern side of 13th Street has changed dramatically since last summer. The 12-story building is slated to house 170,000 square feet of medical office spaces, providing healthcare services to a growing population.

Northside Hospital will be the primary tenant, offering primary care offices, cardiology services, urgent care, and the Northside Hospital Imaging Center.

The rest will be class-A office space geared toward medical professionals.

Just 18 months ago, the site was occupied by two small commercial buildings and a sea of parking. Now, the property consists of a precast-clad concrete tower and a massive parking deck, which reaches all the way to Spring Street.

With exterior work nearly complete, expect the facility to open later this year.
